I think that moderators should start moderating forums other than the Trading Post itself.
Here are some reasons to support my opinion.
1. If members get into a fight outside the Trading Post the moderators can't break up the fight, or moderate that person's post. Moderators should be able to do that especially if someone says something super offensive or inappropriate.
2. We just hit 100 members, so we have a lot of members. If this site keeps growing then we'll have more members. And not all of the people that join here will use this site for good only. Even if they do agree to the rules that doesn't guarantee that they won't get into a fight or act rude.
3. If a person posts a thread that has nothing to do with anything and is just made for spamming. Then the moderators cannot close/delete it.
4. Some threads that are moved by moderators cannot be re-moved if the moderators accidentally put it in the wrong forum. Once the thread is out of the trading area, it's over. What you get, you get.
Yes, I know how to allow moderators to edit posts in all the forums. It's actually pretty simple. Go to Administration Panel. You go to Users & Groups. Then click Group Administration under "Groups". Then you can click on the x/check icon to edit the permissions of each group. Check the boxes under the words "Moderator Status" in the forums you want them to be able to moderate.
