Just wondering.......
Do you say doughnut or donut?
Favorite or favourite?
Color or colour?
Grey or gray?
Judgement or judgment?
They're all the same words---just different ways to spell that word. I found this out when I was looking for the POTM...Donut Seeds. LOL.
(the words in bold are how I spell them)
Either spelling is correct!
Personally, I think learning the American spelling system and the English language in general is very hard. Since you spell arrangement, acknowledgement, and tons of other words with an e. Dictionaries assure everyone that both spellings are accurate and correct, my computer's spell check is saying that doughnut, judgement, favourite, and colour are spelt inaccurately. Soon advancement is going to spelt without an e.
